Much like Welcome to Derry, Twin Peaks, or Eerie, Indiana, STANTONVILLE, USA is a city hiding in plain sight. Founded by freed Black people, it is an all-Black city sustained by memory, ritual, and refusal—thriving culturally, spiritually, and creatively.
Stantonville is also home to HAUNTS AND HAINTS—not monsters, but manifestations born of history, inheritance, and unfinished business.
Rooted in Black American experience, Hoodoo and Conjure traditions, Gullah Geechee culture, and folk wisdom, the supernatural here lives alongside the everyday.
